Dear Percel Clients and Partners:
We are monitoring the COVID-19 updates from Government and all Regional Health Authorities every day. We are all living through an unprecedented time in our lives and are taking all available precautions to protect our Team Members and our client properties. Part of these precautions have involved searching out and supplying whatever supply of anti-bacterial products to our Team and client properties.
For our client properties (buildings) we have also revised the cleaning protocol to ensure multiple cleanings per day of all “touch points” within the common areas (including enterphones, elevator areas, common element and suite door handles).
Each Corporation’s Board of Directors have implemented specific closures of common areas as they feel is warranted.
Our Team members are on the front line as we are exposed to multiple residents, trades and Corporation staff. Due to COVID-19, most Percel employees are working remotely, away from our offices, to support our condominium corporation clients. We have temporarily closed our Corporate Percel and Around the Lakes Property Management offices to non-employee traffic. We do have a skeleton staff in these offices but require that all owners/trades wishing to drop off any payments/invoices, please place them in the mail slots at those offices. We will not be permitting entry by any outside persons.
Our site management offices are also now closed to any in-person contact. If you need to reach our property management team within your corporation, please contact them by email or by phone. Most managers are actually in the on-site offices and are working but in some cases, they may be off-site and working remotely as requested by the Board of Directors.
Most other Percel employees are working remotely, away from our offices and during this time, remain focused and dedicated to managing the day-to-day operations of your community.

Board members: Please call, or e-mail your Condominium Manager, and they will assist you.
Vendors: If you need to pick up a cheque, please make arrangements with your Condominium Manager prior to arrival. We ask that you allow Percel to mail your check during this stressful time.
Homeowners: There is no deferred payment of common element fees. The Condominium Act does not permit this, and we suggest those requiring financial assistance to contact either the Federal or Provincial Government Agencies that are providing such assistance.
Jointly, The Association of Condominium Managers of Ontario (ACMO) and the Canadian Condominium Institute (CCI) have sent an open letter to the Government of Ontario requesting temporary relief of Section 85 of the Condominium Act of Ontario related to the collection of common element fees. At this time, no such relief is available.
Please ensure you follow the newest suggestions or requirements of our local governments to stop the community spread of this horrible virus.
